  Note: Version 2010.2.19 was the final public release. Version 2010.3.102 served in limited release as the beta version for MediaLab v2012.

  Version 2008.1.13 was based on the final releases of DirectRT v2006.2.28. It is recommended for Windows XP.  
  
  Version 2008.2.103 is VERY distinct from 2008.1.13. This revision was a virtual re-write from scratch to accomodate changes in the Windows OS when Vista and Windows 7 were released. This version can also run on XP. When installing, the userwill be prompted to install the 2008 or the 2010 version--the package contains both versions. XP users are advised to stick with the earlier v2008.1.13 (above) unless they are experiencing display issues that can not be resolved.

• DirectRT v2010.2.103

  Version 2010.2.103 was based on its predecessor v2008.2.103 (see v2008 above). These releases of 2008/2010 were written from scratch to accomodate changes in the Windows OS when Vista and Windows 7 were released. Version 2010.2.103 was the last public release of v2010. However, some users encountered display and memory issues with this version.
  
  In response, v2010.3.109 corrected most of these issues and it served as the beta version for DirectRT v2012. This limited release beta as well as the followup v2012 more closely resemble the traditional look and feel of the older DirectRT versions but now with Windows 7 and Vista compatibility.  
  
  v2012
